How to care for your Island Charms

Your pieces have undergone quality testing and comes with a ‘Worry Free Wear’ guarantee. Island Charms are NOT costume pieces which tend to have color loss after 1-2x of wear. Some of the very first charms remain in great condition after countless wears and 4 years. Nonetheless many factors can affect the duration of your jewelry pieces. As a ‘Riser’ you are encouraged to take care of your Island Charms as you would your skin. 

In order to preserve the quality of your pieces it’s important that you understand the material your jewelry is made of.

18 Carat Gold Dipped
Gold dipped jewelry is made of a layer of
gold electroplated over stainless steel or in some cases brass. The BEST materials were chosen and with the thickest layer wherever
possible. Same goes for the Silver and Rose Gold pieces. Each version of the jewelry pieces are covered with a thin protective coating that will repel dust, water, rust, and pollution for the minimum of three (3) years. Keep away from harsh/corrosive materials, ensure to completely dry once exposed to moisture and properly store your pieces for extended product life.

Key Tip:- A quick polish will a jewelry cloth will restore any shine lost due to build up.

For tough buildup soak in warm water with gentle soap for a few minutes. Wipe dry with cloth and your piece should return to its original shine.
